1994 Lightning Cam, Roller or Flat Tappet?

Hello,

My father has a 1993 F-150 with a 351 Windsor in it, he was offered a free cam out of a 1994 Lightning, I was wondering if the lightning had a flat tappet or roller cam, and also if his F-150 has a roller or flat tappet cam? Also, would this be worth the work, and what would the gains be?

Its a flat tappet and isn't worth the trouble in my opinion

This cam used to be really popular with the gen1 guys and still is with the 4x4 guys.Its flat tappet,makes excellent low/mid range power,and is speed density friendly.

Which lifters would I use with that cam? does it come with lifters?

are those to the stock specifications? because replacements lifters are only 2.50 a piece at autozone

Matt,is that cam worth the trouble to put in the stock L, i mean will you be able to tell a power gain or should i just stick with the stock cam?
