1989 mustang drive belt issue

picked this car up about a week ago and ran into a problem with the belt tensioner part of belt touches the part of belt that wraps around the waterpump pulley. Any help would be great.

looks like AC and smog are both deleted.

Your fan is toast and is about to come apart.
