1988 fox with AOD transmission

ok, noticed lately a "shudder" upon heavy acceleration 1-2 gear shifting also a squeal sounding like from under the shifter . Fluid level is correct shifts fine when I baby it off the line and shift's fine?

I know no one replied but the problem was the front universal joint BTW
