Picked up majority of my parts from the powdercoater yesterday, here are some pics. The finish is about as close to the Maximum Motorsports finish as you can get.

Rear dust shields.

Today I got the front dust shields on the spindles. I didn't care for the rivets they came with.....

Powder looks good. That style of header bolt is the only ones I'll get... So much easier to work with then a bolt head.

Looking good brotha! Cant wait to see it done, and hear it idle through the exhaust....

Thanks man. The exhaust is what im looking forward to as well.

I want to go with the dynomax bullet mufflers, i know they sound amazing dumped but im really curious how they will sound with tails. This guy has a similar compression 306 i believe so it should be similar.

Just sounds so mean when he gets up there in the RPM's

He is 2.5" and I will be going with 3", X pipe, with 3" tails.

Dont be, I have far too much money in a car that is 31 years old and has shit for technology and comfort :/ However if you are jealous, everything has its price LOL.

In all seriousness, thank you!

the upside to that is no car note, which is why I gave up my '13 for a '96, I can always make the '96 better, I just didn't want a car note anymore.

Correct, not having any debt is huge.

Part of me has been wanting to get rid of this car already so I can have those comforts of leather, cooled seats, AC, stereo, nav.... Sell and buy a nice comfortable quick daily driver, such as a CTSV wagon. (not kidding either)

I went 3 months without my car due to a crash and I drove my dads truck during that time and I enjoyed the comforts, but when I got in my car this morning to go to work that joy of pure driving came back, the tq and power was there. The ability to move through traffic with ease and pass with power instead of timing was blissful, but I also know my car is no where near my current level of driving right now so that is something I will improve when things aren't so bad, working in the oil and gas industry sucks right now. Still I have the joy of no car note over my head, if I really want the comforts you want I can always buy a factory DD new or used and just relax and cruise, but that's not me. I can understand wanting those things though.
