1983 Mustang GT, need help on tires for weld wheels.

Weld wheels 15X4 and 15X8's, what tire will best fit the 15X8 welds in the rear. 235/60-15's or other???

What about the 15X4 fronts? 175/50-15's or 175/60-15's??

I am at a loss. :shrug: A little help please?

i am running a 165R15 (pepboys FUTURA metric radial) in the front...

for the street i run a 275/50/15 nitto 555r...rear is going to depend on how tall and wide you want the tire... if you need a 26" tire thats the 275/50/15, a 275/60/15 steps up to a 28" tire.

He is going with the 235/60-15's BFG DR Comp T/A's or MT DR's.

i ran 165's up front, and 245' in the rear on my 82 GLX. 15's on these cars look small, if you had the extra money, i would get 17's. here is a pic of the rear.
