Anybody run a 325/35/18 MT R
It’s only .5” taller than the 305/35 SS I’m running.

Still looking at the 555iis but looks like I’d be limited to a 305 though.

yea I was looking at the 325 myself. Not sure if I can put a 325 tire on a 10.5 wheel. I just ordered wheels for the cobra. Im not sure I made right choice but, for the rear, I decided to do 10.5. This way, I had options. I can run a 305 and a 315 tire. 325 might be too big. I think that would be good on a 11 inch rim.

I believe the 325 said good for 10.5-12.5

10.5 is a good choice

Some tires run a little wider than others and the 305 MTSS is def a little narrow for my 11

I don’t recall the same taper on the old ET Street IIs which performed much better in my opinion

ok great. Its good to have a variety of tire choices. Right now its a toss up with the new nittos or the proxes TQ. toyo has them in 315 35 18.

I think you'll be pleased with either one. I didn't see what kind of power you're making, though.

I'm on my second set of 315/35/18 TQs on a 10.5" rim. Perfect fit, no rubbing (on my car, anyway. Not all IRS's are created equal as we've come to find out lol)

Limited experience with the new Nittos (305/35/18 and ~350 miles). However, as I stated earlier, they hooked much better than I had expected. TQs are a 00 treadwear and the Nittos are 100 so I anticipated some first gear slip 'n' sliding. I was shocked at how they gripped. Granted I had just done the full FTBR IRS kit before bolting them on so I'm sure that helped as well.

so I just spoke to BC Forged. They told me 18x11 wheels, I can go with a 305-335 tire. They reviewed my order and wanted to know why I chose the 10.5 over the 11. so I am waiting to see what they say to my response. I told them a 305 I think is too small of a tire to put on a 18x11 and that I wanted to run different size radials and not be stuck to just one size.

My car made 710rwhp 650rwtq. I do plan on going with a gen 5 whipple.

Better get the 11s.

I was looking at the ET R but still finding people having balance issues. No thanks. MT really went downhill in my opinion.

What are y’all finding for sizes?

On discount I only see a 16 in the TQ

555II is a 305 or it jumps to a 325/40 which is a 28” tire.

The nitto's and mt I found 305. Toyo has the 315 35 18. I looked at M&H but there 325 is a 28 inch tall tire. I guess we have two options. The new nitto's or the proxes.

I don’t know what’s up with Discounts search function.

Found the 315/35 18 Toyo at Martin tire here.

I got 2 305/35/18 R888’s waiting to go on my car. I bought them at the end of last year. Are they not making that size any more?

I run MT and my car has developed a vibration around 80. Now I'm wondering if it's something with the tires.

I’ve heard they have trouble staying round.

I can definitely see uneven wear around the circumference if the tire.

Could flat spots have developed? Who knows. But never happened on my old ET streets and you didn’t hear about all these complaints back then.

Yeah wtf. I doubt that spots developed. I removed them for winter storage. I didn't air them down or store them on their side though. I just left them fully inflated and sitting on their tread.

The old MT were the shit. Now its like, wtf. I am def not getting the MT now that I see so many people with issues. My MT thank god aren't bad.

A 305/35/18 looks perfectly fine on a 18x11. It depends on the tire because some run bigger like the Toyo.

And I still had to roll the fenders.....

True Forged Mach 5 18x11's on R888 305/35....

888s run wider. MT they taper in from the rim up to the tread.
