hey guys pretty sure this question has been ask a million times but i keep getting mixing answers. I plan on buying some 17x10.5 cobra r replica and wanted to know if 295/45/17 or 315/35/17 will fit on my 93 lx with a 98 5 lug rear. I still have the quad shocks and plan on removing them also if i roll the fenders would that make them fit. Any opinions would be nice before i buy these rims and tires and they don't fit lol

Thanks guys :??::??:

yes they will bolt right on 315 35 with quads!

i'm also in the market for 10 inch rear wheels. Op's foxes i see online w/ 315-35's always look like the tires won't "tuck" instead they protrude out of the fenderwell like this

i believe it depends on overall vehicle height. Unless i do some sort of mini-tub, i think my car's too low & 315's will rub.

they will stick out just a bit due to the rear end being wider! I have 03 mach 1 rear in mine as we speak with 315/35/17 ordering parts to narrow back to fox width now and 275/40s due to I want it flush fit with my new True Forged!

Just swapped the rear end from my 96 Cobra into my fox (+3/4" per side) with some 99-04 stage 3 Roush 18x10 wheels (additional inch added to inside lip) with BFG KDW2 295/35-18 on them. Have about 1/2 to 3/4" clearance on the inside and will have about 1/4 to 1/2" clearance on the outside after I roll the lips but they fit inside the wheel opening.

I have a 1991 Gt convert and I am running a 17x10.5 in rear with a 315/ 35 and it tucks just fine. I did have to roll the fenders and got rid of the quad shock, running pan hard bar and torque arm with adjustable lower control arms, oh and i did massage the inner wheel well with a blow torch and small sledge hammer.:) came out great!!
