It's been a solid year of racing. The built engine with Accufab pieces is working great, the car is performing perfectly. I'm headed down to VMP as soon as the 2.65 is ready and you'll see the car look a little bit different next year!

Hard to believe you've got more changes coming, Justin, considering how awesome your present setup is. 2018 should be a banner year for you!

Your Shelby is so nasty already, can't wait to see how how the 2.65 TVS performes on your car, I'm guessing you'll be over 1000whp.

The car dynos low with the 2.73s because we do pulls in 3rd gear instead of 4th. 4th (1:1) goes to 220mph and is tough on tires and hard on dynos. Right now, I'm at approx 950whp and should be close to 1050-1100 with the new blower. Goal is over 190mph in the 1/2 mile at 4k lbs race weight

Very cool pics and I was pulling for you on the Mustang Week dyno event.
I didn't think of the 3rd gear issue dynoing your set-up, but it makes sense, I know I lose a bit with 4.10s.
I will also have Mod Nats on the calendar next year--very bummed I just missed going with my friend Scott Hasty in his nasty 6R '11 GT. He and his wife were very impressed with your event.
Funny we have very similar combos in the same colors but the difference in set-up for top speed and drag is interesting.
I'll also be upgrading to the TVS2650 as soon as one becomes available.
Any insight there?
Either way I'm looking to see where you take the car in 2018.
Good luck.

I lost a bit with 15psi in my drag radials over my street tires too. I forgot my lug nuts for the street wheels lol it was fun and had a great week at MW!

Glad Scott and his wife had a good time! Its a very grass roots race without that corporate feel that most races have... Except we have the best prep possible.

VMP 2.65 will be now available this spring. My car will head down to VMP as soon as it's ready. Additionally, my car is changing colors so there will be one less grey/blue GT500 out there. It'll be a wrap so its not permanent.

Hope to see you at the race! It'll keep getting bigger and better!

Nice man, Scott and I just sent a group text to make sure our crew has Mod Nats on the calendar for '18.
With all the issues he had to deal with last minute it made me cancel my flight or else I would've been there too.
He said the same and we need more events like that, so we try and support them.
I just got my car to the point it's reliable as is and I don't want to lose valuable short summers here, so the potential for VMP 2650 delays has me on the fence on selling my worked 2.3 just yet.
I'll def heed your Fore advice and I can't wait to say DONE after 2650/fuel.
I'll PM you contact for PRI, we should do an SVTP PRI get together.
