Trying to figure out what is causing a buddy of mines car to not start.
Its a 15 gt 6r80 car, he was doing a pull and when he let off the gas the car just turned off and would not restart he said. When i got there i check all the fuses and none of them were popped but fuel pump was not priming.
Turns out the fuel pump was smoked due to him putting the bap to 21 v per wrong instructions from someone else. I'm aware the voltage should not be over 17. We replaced the fuel pump, change the setting on the boost a pump to 17, reloaded his tune and the car still wont fire.
Next thing i am going to check is the fuel control module and wires going to it to make sure its working and none of the wires got fried form the excessive voltage. If anyone else has suffered similar issues and was able to fix it please chime in.
Also the night it happened he said it had the code P 0627 which is "fuel pump A control circuit/open"
