11-12 Taillights vs 13-14 Taillights

The 13-14's are better looking all around and inside IMO. The 11-12's look great but I think all the changes made to the 13-14's were improvements.

They DONT fit without the rear bumper. Tail lights alone don't swap

I dont know whose car it is. Just did a google search for 13 tail lights on a 12 and it was the first result.

No they don't, look at that gap. That is what I meant by them not fitting. Just because they bolt on doesn't mean they fit. You need a bumper cover to get them fit properly.

the gap isnt that much more noticeable than the gap between trunk and bumper. If I had a 10-12 and the 13-14 lights were actually affordable, that gap could be lived with IMO.

You wouldn't be the first if you went and rented a 13/14 and swapped the tail lights out to you 11/12. That would be dirty tho. Just make sure it hasn't been done already on the rental your getting.
