Haha, a few years ago I bought a low mileage 92 Escort. $200, only catch was, the white paint was covered in mildew.
I took it to a local carwash.
$6 in quarters, a bottle of WBW, and a ventilation mask later, I had a blazing white low mileage Ford Escort.
Minus the clear coat.
Note to OP: Do not use WBW on your top!
It's pristine now. I don't know if ot was replaced or not but the Ford glass is in the rear window making me think it's original. The frame is slightly racked so the top brushes the passenger side window. I've got a contact here that could adjust it when the weather breaks.

First time I saw that color/body style was when I was stationed at Ft Bragg. I thought it was beautiful then, still do now. Enjoy the car!

Not many colors of Green i like, but E green was A ok in my book! nice ride! white top is a great combo!
