Well, I was at Barrett Jackson today (Mohegan Sun) in CT and I came across a die cast collector. We got to talking, and he told me he had one of these in his car, along with the Aluminator and the 99-01 cobra engine. Well the price was right, and I had to have it. Just sharing with the community. AND YES, I KNOW THE BELT ROUTE IS WRONG  19366326_10209858139625329_746799580283363990_n.jpg19396961_10209858139785333_5888380963795923845_n.jpg19437199_10209858139745332_5523125778060174445_n.jpg19424142_10209858139705331_4599138797477540565_n.jpg

Hobby Lobby had a nice case I put my Aluminator one in. It was made for a basketball or soccer ball. Fits nicely and was cheap.

NICE FIND!!

I have #294. They are cool for sure. Only making 1000 of them they don't surface often....

^^ The only way I'd pay that much is if it ran!

Then I'd put an über small pulley on it and make dogs bark.

Jibber, is that $00-$700 new, or used? It's VERY rare to see them sold "NEW" (if the seller is being honest). It's more common to see folks re-selling them after displaying them in their home, hopefully in a dust-free display case.

It's a really nice collectible for the serious '03-'04 Cobra owner, but expensive for sure.

That's a good question. Most of the sales indicate that it was "briefly" displayed or only opened to take a picture for the ad. Personally, don't think there is that big of a difference. A little canned air would work fine on these.
The 600-700 I speak of is the typical price from all sales that I've followed.
One sold without the box for $425.....
I don't claim to be an authority on these and their current value. it's been on my radar to get one (I have the Aluminator model already) so I follow them pretty close whenever I see them pop up on eBay.
Again, it's just what I've seen doing my unscientific research.

I saw one of those at summit racing in their show room. It was really cool. Would have liked to buy one, just needed the money for actual car parts though.
