My car has been getting rebuilt a while and while it's been gone I decided to swap to e85. Changing fuel only what might be the gains? 18-19lbs boost, return fuel, Kenne Bell 2.8 and ID1000s. I am leaving it up to my tuner to turn up the boost as long as he feels its safe. So, gains on just e85 and gains on e85 and 23lbs?

I don't have an exact idea, but it will be a huge difference for sure. I'd guess 100+whp more once the tune and boost is optimal for E85.

100whp would make it worth the cost of changing the fuel system for sure. I will post results. Thanks for your post.

60-80rwhp just from changing fuel alone. And another 30-40rwhp with some more aggressive timing. I picked up 65rwhp at 10psi over 93 with no additional timing added just changing the lambda for e85.

Very promising info here. I really hope for similar results. I will leave the boost increase up to my tuner but it looks like solid gains can be had on the e85 swap alone. Thanks for chiming in.

do it

my car at 20# made 775/666 on a MD, 20.5*

at 24# it made 960whp on a DJ and I believe a bit more timing (before I owned it)
