I have an 09 GT500 with some mild bolt-ons, and am considering a few options including buying an 11-12 GT500 to benefit from the updated styling and aluminum block, etc. My thought here would be to buy a relatively stock 11-12 and swap some of the parts from my 09, and then sell the 09 in relatively stock form. Specifically, I'm interested to know whether the following parts interchange between the years:

- Whipple 2.9
- ARH long tubes and x pipe
- One-piece drive shaft

Again, I would want to remove the above parts from my 09, and install them on an 11-12. I would also want to take the stock Eaton, exhaust manifolds, etc. of the 11-12 and install them on my 09.

I believe all Whipple 2.9s are the same for 07-12 cars, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if the stock 11-12 Eaton would go on an 09 without issue. I believe ARH lists one header and x pipe combination for 07-10, and another from 11-12, but I don't know if the long tubes would interchange. Can anyone with detailed knowledge here provide input? The Whipple and long tubes are my primary concern. All other parts like x pipe and drive shaft would be a bonus. Thank you in advance!

Whipple yes, driveshaft yes. Headers possibly not, but id give your header manufacturer a call and ask if it would be swappable.

The intake manifold is the same piece used from 2007 to 2014, so all GT500 superchargers will interchange. Ford went to an electronic EVAP valve which goes into the supercharger elbow on 2011 up. They make solutions to handle that. I think the headers are the same with the collector/cross over pipes being different. A call to ARH would clarify that.

If the X-pipe is made to attach to the oem exhaust system, the 2007-2010 is 2.50" diameter and the 2011-2014 is 2.75" diameter.

This.

Would be the only reason headers wouldn't be direct swap. However, nothing a little fab work wont fix up.

Post pics if you buy the new car.

I LOVE the 10-14 body style...
