So, it was never going to be a project car and now it is and here is why. bought a procharged (D1SC stage II) mach1 to hold me over till I had the cash to get into a 2015+GT. Fast forward 8 months the tranny took a poop, fast forward 2 months new built TR-3650 2011 spec + Mcleod clutch and flywheel installed (4k$). Current debachel is that the car has bad idler pulley, one of the ones procharger provides, I had to replace the diaphragm in the surge valve, the car stalls a LOT (maybe because of excess drag due to the bad pulley) or a bad IAC. I also have to now check the whole supercharger system to make sure it was installed right as it looks like fitment might have been an issue and shortcuts may have been taken. I am going to take apart and clean the whole maf section, although I keep hearing its prob best to just nuke it and go with a straight through MAF. I need gauges (fuel, boost, A/F) and since i'm going to drive her all winter as my commute to work is not like 3 miles. So bottom line now is im upside down 4k in the car so the plan to move to a newer GT is done and i'm going to build this car a bit so i can enjoy it more and maybe recoup some of the cash i lost. I live in an apartment so working on the car during the winter is a nightmare so if anyone is in my neck of the woods near King of Prussia PA, and might want to lend a hand or garage :) Id love to make a few new car friends around here. Suggestions for the following upgrades are welcome as I have not build any of my previous 3 new edge mustangs past your basic bolt ons. 1. Fuel pressure sending unit 2. MAF Setup for procharged system 3. Any of the gauges i mentioned I needed 4. options for 18" or 19" rims, I really like The 5 spoke SVE rims but they are not offered in 19" 5. Tuner options, i'm thinking of going with the SCT X4 but I kind of want analog input options 6. I was thinking of going with a roush front bumper for a larger air intake area for the intercooler 7. Possible roush side skirts to go along with either a custom side exit exhaust or a roush exhaust 8. ideas for front and side splitters, if i go with a roush front end is it really needed? stock mach and GT front ends tilt up, I like the more square flush with the ground look, thus I have a chin spoiler on it now. Thanks!
