We recently sold our 03 cobra that we had owned for 11 years. It had cold air intake under drive pulleys and a Steeda high flow exhaust with high flow cats. After all those parts were installed we purchased a chip from super chips that was programmed for such mods.
Anyway, the guy who purchased the car was unable to pass emission testing and the tester said this was due to the super chip not supplying the correct info to the oxygen sensors or something to that effect.
The chip apparently has different program modes that can accessed does anyone know how to change these without hooking up to a computer? Is it possible?
Otherwise it was suggested that the factory chip be reinstalled and the car tested again which they were sure it would pass this time. We can't find the factory chip anywhere. We assumed we could provide it when we sold it but were unable so we feel some sense or responsibility to the buyer. Any info on how we could get the super chip to run similar to the factory computer settings would be greatly appreciated!!!
