03 Cobra Boost Dump Disconnect

I am installing an 03 Cobra engine into my 97 GT. I will be using my 97 computer so I will have no boost dump control. I hear that a lot of Lightening and Cobra owners just disconnect or turn off the dump. What effect will this have on driveability, power, and reliability?

Why wont you have any boost dump control?

If some gearhead can get an 03 cobra motor into a Focus, it has already figured it out somehow...

check out rpm outlet.com they have a tutorial about it. I havent done it on my 03 yet but im thinking about it my only question is do i really want 3 more pounds of boost when im already making 14 psi on stock car, just recently got a chip burned
