Same issue, same outcome. I checked the fan amp draw with a 60A jumper before condemning it. Fan removal is simple. Now just have to find one tomorrow. I'm surprised, only 15k miles.
As a side note, Auto Zone is awfully proud of those 50A fuses @ $5 each.........
