THE POKER RUN WILL BE SATURDAY MARCH 19TH STARTING AT 9:30 AM AT TEXAN FORD. EACH PARTICPANT WILL PICK UP AN ENTRY FORM AND DRAW A PLAYING CARD WHICH WILL BE RECORDED ON YOUR ENTRY FORM. YOU WILL THEN DRIVE TO FOUR OTHER FORD DEALERS( PAYTON WRIGHT, NICHOLS, HILLARD, AND COUNTY LINE, .) AT EACH DEALER YOU WILL DRAW A CARD AND IT WILL BE RECORDED ON YOUR FORM. THE CONTESTANT WITH THE BEST POKER HAND WILL WIN $200.00. EVERY CONTESTANT ALSO WILL GET A FREE BAR-B-Q LUNCH COMPLIMENTS OF COUNTY LINE FORD. NON-ENTRIES MAY JOIN THE LUNCH FOR A $5.00 DONATION.

THE ENTRY FEE IS $ 20.00 AND ALL MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO A FUND TO HELP RICKY "ROCKY" HERNANDEZ. RICKY IS AN ALARM TECHNICIAN WHO WORKS AT COUNTY LINE FORD. HE WAS INJURED IN A DRIVE-BY SHOOTING ON FEB 17. HE IS DOING OK NOW, BUT YOU CAN IMAGINE THE MEDICAL EXPENSES, NOT TO MENTION THE TIME MISSED AT WORK. HE IS A GREAT GUY AND CAN USE OUR HELP.

THERE WILL ALSO BE A DRAWING FOR SOME NICE DOOR PRIZES AT THE BAR-B-QUE.

I WOULD ASK THAT EVERY ONE POST UP WHEN THEY ARE SURE THEY ARE GOING TO PARTICIPATE SO I CAN GIVE THE CATERER AN IDEA OF HOW MANY PEOPLE TO EXPECT.

POKER RUNS ARE A LOT OF FUN AND A GREAT WAY TO SPEND A SATURDAY, ESPECIALLY FOR SUCH A GOOD CAUSE.

I would go, but don't have $ for gas. All those dealers are in BFE from me, and my car gets like 10 mpg.

I hope you guys have a blast, would love to go, but too much money for me right now, sounds like a good 300 mile day.

As for 300 miles ... no, it'll be like 150 for me but I do get over 20 MPG bar boost -- pun!

I found out why I don't get very good gas mileage today! I have a leak from the gas filler in the side of my tank. I won't be driving it much till I get that fixed. :burn:
