c) throttle body to plenum
d) IAC valve to plenum
e) EGR valve to back of blower
f) timing cover(3 parts to this gasket, and they are all sold separately)
g) supercharger to lower intake(this one can be reused if you can het the original from the guy with the 03)
h) you can also use your original lower intake to head gaskets. you just have to cut off two small tabs(one on each one). you'll see when you try to line them up with the 03/04 lower intake. no big deal at all, takes 3 seconds.
-----> you'll also need to do something for fuel. stock 03/04 injectors are fine. you can run a BAP on your stock pump, or swap to the 03/04 tank and dual pump setup too...

It can be done cheap if you do your research, but it can also turn very expensive if you have to buy tons of parts separately. As far as numbers go, I made 428 rwhp with a home ported blower while others have made over 450.

I was planning the swap and started buying the parts only to realize I needed way more pieces than I thought.. It is best if you are planning this swap to buy it all of the needed parts in one shoot. Searching for and buying the parts one at a time is exspensive and time consuming..

If you do your home work and get the parts used its not expensive. about 4k is what I spent and I got some upgrades.

I made 470 RWHP 8psi on a ported blower

What is the best way to piece this kit together? How much would it cost of you bought everything except for the blower from ford?

Way too much... I believe Steve on here added it all up and for everything at his cost it was still $5,xxx.

yes, it'll be very expensive just buying everything outright. having a donor car is he way to go imo. i think 01 Venom did his by peicing everything together, you just have to be more patient and watch the market like a hawk...

ya you really have to stay out of ford to make this work, they want like $800 for the lower alone.

I got all my parts from ebay and the market places, but they get snapped up quick need to be on top of it.

Buying it new I think was estimated at about 6k. If you watch for deals you can find just about everything used which makes it very affordable. I came in at about 17-1800 after selling my mach upper/lower intake and a couple small parts. Still have more I can sell. Thats including tune, cobra fuel tank etc. I love the swap, runs just like stock until you lay into it and you have power anywhere in your powerband. My numbers are in my sig. I'd definitely reccommend it for anyone that has the time to wait for good deals on parts. The install isn't terrible, learned a lot about how everything works in the process too. Here's more info if anyone needs it with part numbers, pics, install etc. http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71833

Hello, I'm new to these DOHC Modulars as this is my first one, and so far I'm loving them. I have a 99 Rio Red Cobra and I am wanting to install a stock 03/04 cobra eaton on my car. I found a listing on another site for these parts. If I buy these what all else would I have to find and does anyone have these parts that would complete the set-up? Here is what the guy has.

M112 Eaton Supercharger

Throttle Body and Plenum

Ported Plenum

03 Cobra Lower Intake Manifold

03 Cobra Intercooler

03 Cobra Alternator and bracket

Supercharger drive pulley Asm. & bracket

90mm Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF)

39 lb. Fuel Injectors

Heat Exchanger (Intercooler)

Let me know and thanks in advance.

well, to answer your question you might just want to take a look at the big list at the top of the page. that's everything you'll need. just from looking at yout list there's timing cover, pulley assemblies, coolant hoses, and all the intercooler lines.
