03/04 cobra halfshaft

Does anyone know the diameter of the shaft for the cobras is it 1 3/4 or 1 3/8

I believe it's actually 1.700 inches.

I'm looking at a set and the seller said the shafts measure 1 3/8 diamter which I thought was kind of small

Look at the inner CV joint. That's a dead give away for the 99/01 vs. 03/04.

Some 99-01’s came with 31 spline inners. I have a set from my buddies old car as a spare. Yes the main part of the shaft is smaller than 03/04’s but would still work in a pinch.

The 01's came with 31 spline. The 99's had 28. I swapped them out in my 01. I was assuming the OP was looking for 03/04 shafts and wanted to give him a quick way to check.

Thanks for clarifying. I knew some were 31 spline but didn’t know the specifics. I’ve never run them, but I have a pair laying around just in case. I have 1 03’ too, but needs a new outer boot, it spits grease every now and then, so needs a new boot and new grease.
