I know they're supposed to be a slightly different design, but can anyone confirm the benefits of upgrading the OEM a-arms on my '99 Cobra to a set of 03/04 Cobra a-arms? I've read it has something to do with the bushings & ball joints used from the factory, as well as the geometry of the a-arms improving the turning radius?

Just researching the 03/04 a-arms versus going with something tubular.

Can anyone chime in on this? Thanks in advance.

Slightly wider track (3/4" comes to mind, but that may be vs SN95) and higher durometer (stiffer) bushings. I think the turning radius is slightly improved, but it still stinks.

If your bushings or ball joints are going bad, this is the easiest, most factory looking option with some improvement in performance. If you're looking to reduce weight, increase your wheelbase, and make the switch to coil-overs (which you must do), than the '03-'04 arms aren't for you and aftermarket tubulars are the way to go. Don't do this to improve turning radius, you'll be disappointed.
