my 02 gt oil pressure gauge is reading about 3 notches from the red line does anyone know how to correct the problem bc other gt's ive seen they usually run the the middle of low and high, or anyone have a suggestion?

The stock oil pressure sensors are pretty much just an electric on/off switch and don't tell you the true pressure. Clean the connection of the gauge underneath the car and see if the gauge returns to its normal position. Then get a mechanical or aftermarket electrical oil pressure gauge.
