I’m getting a e-8 error code on my gauge. Just installed it a few weeks ago. I was told it was possibly the location. It’s pretty close to the stock bung. Thanks.

I don’t let it heat up. I start the car up right away.

The code means sensor needs to be replaced or issue with connection. It’s brand new. They said it could be bung placement or bad sensor. I recalibrated it I’ll see what it does.

What was the outcome? I’m getting ready to install a wide band and have gotten different opinions on placement.

I’m running a off road H pipe and heat some say they eliminate rear sensors and use one of those bungs.

They said the placement was fine and sent me a new o2 sensor. I installed it and it seems fine but car needs to be tuned. I was told it has to be close to the flange five inches or so . Rear o2 would be to far.
