01 cobra tailight question

So my brother had a 01 v6 Mustang and he sold it but I kept his taillights so that I could tint them. Well I have them tinted and want to install them but on my 01 cobra it has more lights of course than his set.

My question is there a kit I need to install these or what? Any help would be appreciated.

your (99-01) cobra has the 4-wire system..IMO the easiest way is to keep the wiring and modify the lights.

1. File down center nub where turn signal goes and then drill a pilot hole.
2. Use 1" hole saw to slowly drill a hole.
3. Now use small jewelers files to cut notches like your original cobra lights have, test fitting with the turn signal connector as you go.

Store the amber tint cobra lights in a safe place.

If you want to go the rewiring route, there is a thread to convert the 4-wire system to a 3-wire somewhere.
