They will fit, but they probably won't ride real good. The tires are way to wide for an 8" wide rim.

They might fit, but why? You will not get a contact patch the size of the tire. They will wear irregularly. Either buy some wider wheels or buy some tires that fit properly.

I have 10.5" wheels with a 315 tire. My 315's are a little too big for my wheels. I have to run 25psi or lower so the centers of the tires don't wear out first. I probably won't buy but a 295 or a 305 for my next set. I wouldn't want to run more than a 255 or 265 with an 8" wheel.
