I tried unhooking the alternator to see If that fixed my battery drain issue but like I was told not to I accidentally made an arc to metal from the connector to the alternator now the car will turn over constantly but not crank. Any ideas, it's getting fuel and I tested the coils resistance and they are still good.

So it’ll crank but not start

how did you verify it’s getting fuel?

Coils might be good but are they getting power (I think the ground is what’s switched to fore the coil)

if you arced a wire from the alternator I’d check all the fuses in that under hood panel

car also needs crank and cam position sync.

I can smell fuel on the plugs. Checking power should I unplug the coil and test the connector while trying to start or test while it's plugged in? All of the fuses have been checked and can you explain about the Crank and Cam position sync?
