Hey guys, I'm a new owner of a 2000 Cobra R and I've got a few questions. First, the car has the aftermarket Bassani exhaust on it. Installed on the car is the Bassani x-pipe with 2 cats. I assume that's not stock for an R as they ran the 4 cat pipe stock, yes? I also have a Bassani X-pipe with no cats. As we don't have smog requirements in Oregon, is it worthwhile to install the pipe without cats. I understand it will be louder, are there any performance gains to be had by doing so? Second, There is an aftermarket aluminum air intake installed. I can email a pic to anyone who would be interested in helping me figure this out as I can't attach a pic here. I've sent an email to Bassani as I've read they may have made a prototype or two and this may be one of them. Lastly, I've got an Autologic 2001 chip that is not installed. I've researched it a bit and have found out that it's an older, programmable chip capable of switching between 4 different tunes. Does anyone know of a company that can still read theses chips as I'd like to know what's on it before I install it. Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks guys!
