Honestly it might not have been the mod. I wanted to remove the doubt that was the issue.

Its not a huge difference. I feel it was partly due to the on/off nature of the spec clutch.

Wanted to give an update on this maybe help someone out down the road. I removed the free play mod removed the clutch cable oiled the cable and clutch slip is gone.

I just did a high gear low speed test 5th gear maybe 45 mph wot no slip. 60 # dekas kb boosta pump. Last clutch i lunched you could smell miles away.

Also has freeplay mod forgot to add

1st full boost pull lots wheel hop slam 2nd rpms fly redline no pull no tire spin. Slow down. Roll into full boost 2nd wot pulls like a freight train

No smells at all.

Lil help guys. 600 hp spec stage 3+ fidanza fly. Car has been sitting alot over last 2 years. Clutch slips on a hard shift to 2nd. However does not slip from on hard pull in 4th 5th or 6th. Im thinkin cable sticking. Any help is appreciated. All the quick test guys say will indicate a bad clutch...

"because some kid will buy it without a question" pretty much word for word what i told him. Never again. I bought my first cobra without looking hard and asking questions. Had to have that blower whine. Big mistake. Took my time on the second and enjoyed the hell out of that car.

Left this one behind. Dealer would not agree to have the car fully checked out. No PPI no leak down no body shop . Could not understand why I was asking so many questions or why they mattered. Rather walk than buy a headache. Thank you all for your input and help.

Sound advise here. Might just be me but I tend to enjoy a play car more when I have no payment. I tell myself If it sits, it sits. No big deal. With a payment I convince myself if it sits its a waste. I have no legitimate reasoning behind this but Id be lying if I said its the craziest thoughts...

Quick update just spoke with them. They upcharge 750 if I don't finance through them. The bank gives the dealer 750$ down payment assistance.
