A lot of used, low mile Shelbys on the market across the country. Most are asking for top dollar. People are going to wish that they would have driven them.
You may find some PCM/ECM/ECUs on the various Ford parts warehouse sites. If you order, you be given a refund. If you call, they’ll tell you that no one in the country has one.
Thank you! I have the PCM. It was the cause. With every other possible repair that I’ve tried, the problem came back within a few miles. It’s been solid all week. No idea what caused the problem, but I would guarantee that they follow the PCM.
The Ford tech that installed the PCM said he’s...
I’ve spent 5 years and over $5,000 chasing this gremlin. My calibrator, who is well known but I’ll allow them to stay nameless, kept telling me that they don’t see anything in the logs. Well, I’m no expert in reading logs but when the car is running, the MAF counts aren’t supposed to drop to...
That’s awesome! I have had an intermittent drivability problem with my 110,000 mile ‘10 that no one has been able to figure out for 4.5 years. Logs and tune have been reviewed, engine harness changed, the list is long. It has been looked at by all the big names you’d expect. While your...
Most of the problems I have had in 110,000 miles have been related to defective parts, bad install work and just dumb luck. The list is truly amazing and most of you would be surprised I’ve kept the car. LOL The only people allowed to touch my car for anything other than normal maintenance...
I purchased my 2010 new in September 2009. I have put 110,000 miles on it. You have me beat on mileage, but I know what's been done to my car in that time. LOL
Sometimes it’s simply a difference in the throttle body actuator motor. I’ve gone thru about 4 or 5 throtttle body motors on my 2010 over the years.
The 2nd to last motor I purchased the motor only from Amazon as opposed to an entire throttle body assembly. My L&M 72 didn’t like this motor...
I purchased one, pre-painted, a few years ago. It was under $1,000 shipped. It's nice, but not perfect. The louvers on the hood need to be sanded down to be perfectly flat with the hood. Since my car is a driver with 106,000 miles on it, I didn't bother. I've had no issues with it other...
I’ve had a few arcades over the years, but really a pinball guy. Current collection is at 12. Here are 11 of them. I’m currently in the process of restoring the 12th.
I run these tires with 275/35-20 fronts on a 9" wheel and 305/35-20 rears on a 10.5" wheel. They drive nice. The 305s are taller and that kills some gear making them hook better, however, they won't hook like a drag radial or slick. I'm north of 700 to the wheels and have a BMR suspension.
Congrats! Great run!
Way back when I was racing my stock motored '98 Cobra, I had a friend come down from North Jersey with his car in late October. From what I recall, running the same time of year, the difference between E-Town and Palm Beach was a solid 3 tenths and 3 mph, if not a little...
I had a brand new throttle body motor that would cause this without setting a code. Never logged it because I knew it was the motor and just swapped in another.
