long story short, got a ticket for 51 in a 30.
no way was i going that fast, but its what the ticket says.
ticket says failure to obey traffic signal, so it's lesser fine.
question is...
the speed limit sign i passed before i was clocked is spray painted or drawn over the numbers...
i've been swamped and haven't had a chance to install them yet...
those that have been running them now for a while... the dust problem gone away? worth swapping over to them or what's your opinion??
I know some guys don't care for them...
But after getting them on, life has become so much more easy!
No more "hey, how many hp is that?"
No more "hey, does that thing have a turbo or sc?"
No more "hey, are those still 5.4L?"
Ha!
Plus they look sweet! :coolman:
Some DSLR love w/...

so figured i'd ask over here on my usual forum... need some help on an h-pipe
here's the skinny... my wife has a 94 GT and her car started making a crazy rattle can sound. i climbed under...
need some help/advice on h-pipe
hey all...
my wife has a 94 GT and her car started making a crazy rattle can sound. i climbed under and it is coming from the stock h pipe, somewhere around the fwd cat. so i'm assuming something broke inside the pipe / cat.
it has stock headers, stock h...
anyone know where the newly redesigned pics of the exhaust tips are?
i heard they redid them now to be slant cut and just wondering what they look like...
or where are they for sale?
anyone taken off the hood liner?
i've always heard that you will get louder blower whine...
but always wondered if its bad for the hood or paint in any way? and what shape is the hood/paint under the liner.
anyone have any clicking sounds in their steering?
notice it a lot when the car is off and try turning the steering wheel... i get a clicking or popping sound?
ok boys and girls...
taking the turd over to jake at lamotta performance to get it dyno tuned tonite after work...
in the interest of killing boredom at work... i'm running a contest to see who can guess the final numbers after all is said and done! closest to the pin wins!
the winner...
anyone else having issues w/ a ton of rust on the rotors after washing?
especially the inner portion of the rotor? after you've ran the brakes to take off whatever forms on them it goes everywhere on the rim and i'm left w/ orange ring in the middle!
just as title says...
was pulled over for failure to obey sign or signal, something to that regard.
she was speeding. we all know the idea of going to court in hopes that the officer doesn't show, etc.
question she is asking, if she goes that route...?
what do you do if the officer...
don't know the physics behind it all, but is there a better time to get a dyno tune done? since its hot as balls right now, i'm assuming having a dyno tune would be most beneficial early morning before it gets stupid hot? its getting close to 100 degrees out mid day... morning its low-mid...
i was out and about and had a conversation with a guy at a shop. we got on the subject of some work i am planning on doing with throttle body and tune. he kept saying over and over that you need to go with one of the aftermarket intakes to get real gains. i told him that i had the frpp...
does anyone know if the stock air intake system will work with the frpp 65mm cobrajet throttle body?
i was looking at making some mods, and wondering since i already have an airraid filter and the resonator delete... will the rest of the stock connections work with the new throttle body?
picked up a set of van's reservoir tanks in black.
picked up an aluminum brake reservoir cover and powder coated it black.
plastidipped the windshield washer cover and the gawdy red boot for the battery.
engine bay looks beautiful!!
thanks again to van for the quick turn around! real...
i'm thinking of putting together a power setup...
i'm wondering if anyone knows if the 2013/14 gt500 steeda cai will fit with the 65mm FRPP cobra jet throttle body (ref below)?
i've seen the 13-6 kit that van sells and everyone raves about... but one thing i prefer is the look of the steeda...
Just a tad over 800 on the odometer. Been fairly easy on things. Only a couple hard accelerations. No WOT pulls or anything crazy.
Amazing there is this much blow by from stop and go traffic!
great price, paid $20.99 w/ free shipping on amazon

reception is no different than stock on my car.
looks good and fit perfect!
i've seen a couple threads and been asked via pm about some issues, so i figured it was time to just go into detail about my problems with this setup. originally i was holding off on this because of waiting for feedback/help from stainless works, but apparently they have no desire to keep up...
what do you guys think?
i'm contemplating having my stainless works exhaust powder coated in either black or gunmetal... something close to the rims.
the chrome kinda just sticks out too much seeing as there is none on the car. almost seems outta place.
