Dam man don’t remember it’s been a long time but I know when I got it I looked for a while and I either got the mmr kit or the mm kit. But I’m pretty sure I got the mmr kit.
Man that makes sense since my blue cobra didn’t really pop and it had a stock maf with a mafia but this one has a bigger maf and it does. So very true might even be spark plug related at all. And to be honest car runs and drives great it’s just that part and it’s livable I was just a bit worried.
I’ve never ran anything but tr6 but I just wanted to see if trying them would change things up but then again car drives perfect so worried might open a can of worms
Oh nice, just saw on some older threads some saying the br7 caused some horsepower but that’s why I wanted to ask recently to see if that was just maybe a bad set or a myth so thank you.
See thank you that’s what I mean a lot of guys keep telling me to try br7. By chance did you feel any power loss or difference? Or not sure if you have ever ran the tr6’s in the past.
Hey guys so I know there is a million spark plug questions and trust me I haves searched a million times. Just wanted a more recent answer since things have changed. All my previous cobra I’ve only used Tr6.
My current cobra has a Tr6 came gapped at 0.023. Now I don’t know how it sounded or...
I had an oil cooler delete in my last cobra, I only did it because my oil cooler gave out so then bought another one rebuilt it and it leaked again so I said screw it and got a delete kit. Never had any issues just not a priority but if my oil cooler in this car gives out might go that route again.
From my understanding it’s mainly for looks/clearance of the crossover. I wanted to kill two birds in my case since that long hose of mine has a slight cut might as well get crossover since it gets rid of it anyways. On the YouTube video I believe he stated that it takes a bit longer to warm up...
Dam thanks for telling me, I’m wondering what is the other option for this? Is it the cobra engineer lower kit? Sorry just want to do it best way posible.
Ok, thanks and yeah im leaning towards cobra engineering. Was just wondering since they do offer a kit now that retains your stock thermostat placing just removes crossover. So was thinking does it matter where the thermostat is or if it makes a difference.
Oh nice I Didn’t know we can clean them. Quick noob question, do I have to wait till car is almost on empty to change it out or clean it or is there an easier way like removing fuel pump fuse. (Not too sure on the return systems). Thanks.
So might be weird question but my hose (the thermostat housing to the crossover delete) has a slash in it. Not leaking but just don’t feel safe to run like that for a while. I’m guessing it got the slash from trying to push the tensioner to remove belt or what not. So looking for this hose I...
I believe I did as instructed. I matched the instructions and took everyone’s advice. I just need to recheck all the wiring make sure everything is hooked up correctly and nothing is loose. All the wires are still all over I didn’t want to start putting everything back and something was off.
You think I connected something wrong? Turned on the car but analog 1 or 2 show 0 and I connected the wires as instructed. Blue to white left the green and red alone.
