Sorry for the late reply, had to go in for an ankle surgery.
So the pumps are Deatsch Werks. We removed the BAP and rewired a new connector to the FPDM. My friend says that when he turns the key the pumps don't prime but he heard like two clicks or thumps from around the fuel tank area.
Ok, so time to drop the tank to see if one of the hoses came loose. We ran the pumps a few times to see if we got any pressure at the fuel rail and nothing.
So I also tested with the connector plugged into the FPDM. There was power going in and out of the FPDM (12V). So basically power at FPDM both ways, power at the pump harness at the tank. Looks more like there is no signal being sent for the pumps to prime.
BTW
If I run the pumps directly to...

Thanks to everyone for the replies, at this time I cannot bump up my budget, hence why its called a "budget" lol. Anyways, I do understand the cheap/reliable/fast rule and I'm technically not looking for something fast. I believe you can find a car that is cheap/reliable/fun and some of the...
My Cherokee is auto and its the first auto car I have owned. I still prefer manual cars but depending on what car I get I would consider manual just for the comfort. I wont be getting much traffic where the company is located but depending on where I get a house/apt I may get a bit of it.
So I got a job down in WPB, FL area. Ill be down there starting next month. Currently I have a lifted 2000 Jeep Cherokee that I have for sale, a 2003 Cobra shell I bought about 6 months ago that I'm willing to sell but not actively selling since I don't mind taking it with me and the ladies BMW...
Im under consideration for Northrop in Melbourne and have an interview with Aerojet Rocketdyne on Monday. Im trying to stay in the DoD since a have a clearance.
Good luck to you as well. I agree, its a good feeling knowing you are helping the soldiers out in the field. I have tow friends that are active and directly use what I work on. The two jobs Im looking at in FL are also military oriented.
Damn, now with the hiring freeze everything is on hold. Yes I do, the problem is that the job they have me doing is more of a designer tech, so I just sit on a desk and work on CAD so I'm not even doing the Project Engineer/Manager jobs.
Thanks for the reply.
That's what I feel. We have talked about it and we both agree that moving is what we want. She told me last night that if she was in my position she would withdraw from the GM offer since she doesn't want to live in MI. I think what puts doubt in my mind is the feeling...
I'm a Mechanical Engineer and I currently work for the DoD but have found that the job is not what I expected. I like a job that is hands on and challenges me and I feel that this job does not provide that. Having worked in the automotive field, I find myself missing the challenges that I used...
Thats what I was thinking, the guy has had a few offers. He has a guy offering him a set for $150 shipped that are in better condition then mine paint wise. I told him $125 + shipping. Is that a reasonable price?
