Completely remove the Allen head bolt that runs all the way through the cooler. Stick a screw driver in the gap in the cooler housing (oil filter side) and evenly pry (down) around each corner and the cooler will separate.

Normal for ground cable on the battery to get significantly warm/hot. Have the heat exchanger fans/ pump running full time. If anyone can touch the negative cable after idling 15 mins or a decent drive around the block and let me know if the cable is warm.

Any tips,hints,tricks before I install the drivers side pump this weekend? Should you be able to hear the passenger side fuel pump/sending unit prime as you normally hear on the main pump on the drivers side?
