The parents should have made sure the kid was clear of the car. I make sure I get my kids where they need to be then I follow. We teach the kids to pay attention to the drivers if the are in a parking lot or crossing the street, because people either don’t see them or aren’t paying attention.

The cheapest car I have paid for was a 94 Golf, just totaled and was sitting in a coworkers neighbors yard. I bought it for $125, cut the airbags and drove it for about a year and a half until she caught on fire. After the engine fire I parted the car out and made money off of it, lol!
