04 Cobra is stuck in gear, will not roll with clutch pushed in, and will die if clutch is released

sorry I'm late to this. I have found that getting the clutch cable from Maximum Motorsports was probably the best adjustment I ever did. It fixed the cable stretching issue. I swapped my TOB and my TOB tube and the car felt and shifted so much better.

    Thump tensioner defect.

I use the one from Steeda. Haven't had an issue yet and I've had it on there for 8 years. It bolts right up. Just have to flip the pulley to bolt it on an 04 Cobra. It is the heavy duty one for an 05-10 GT. Should work Great for a GT500. This thing is stiff. Serious spring in it...

my new set up (tvs, fore, metco ect...)

I run a Whipple 140ax with 3.5 inch pulley, long tube headers with catted H-pipe and Magnaflow 3.5" tips, 60lbs injectors, 4lb lower, kennel bell BAP, JLT ram air intake, and a SCT BA2400 MAF meter. The only issue I have really had is the car shuts down sometime after a hard boost run, so I...

my new set up (tvs, fore, metco ect...)

I have an Accufab on mine. When you said you were doing it, I was wondering if the GT500 flowed more. I was about to sell the accufab and buy the GT500 unit. Just building the car and getting ready to sell, so I was just curious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, correct me if I am wrong, but the 2018 F-150 has SIX motor options.

Good info. Thanks. I'll start to look at them a lot more now. I'm starting to think those people simply expected more or just didn't know how to drive, or beat on the trucks and then complain when something breaks. I've only been looking at 8 cylinder super crew FX4's since reading those...

So, correct me if I am wrong, but the 2018 F-150 has SIX motor options.

I'm looking to pick up an F-150 myself, but I've read terrible reviews about the Ecoboost, like you never get the gas mileage, power loss issues, PVC issues, rattle on start-up, and oil leaks just to name a few. I also read that towing isn't that great. Is the 2018 going to address all of...

2004 Cobra Pilot Bearing Install Depth.. Is this in there all the way??

Here is my issue. I'm swapping out my clutch. replacing the pilot bearing, and I honestly didn't look at the bearing when I took it out to see how far it was in, and now it feels like its in as far as it will go. I installed the FORD RACING FMS-M-7600-B Pilot Bearing. Here are some pics of...

Help me with the math for my belt

Ok, so I know that this subject has been beat up over and over, but I'm just not figuring something out. And, YES, I have read all the posts that say READ THIS FIRST!!! So, on EVERY page I can find (Cobra Bob, Billetflow, Brenspeed, etc...) all of the charts say I should be running a 81.6"...

2004 SVT Cobra mauling serpentine belt

I own a 2004 Terminator that I bought in 2009 after I returned from Iraq. It has sat in storage since 2010, as I was in Japan for the past 3 years. Now i'm taking it out of storage and need to repair it. Here is my issue: it's got a Whipple supercharger pushing 19lbs of boost and a metco...
