I saw the Silver Surfer in all its glory yesterday on Speed Channel's Pass Time. Despite all the hardware the 1/4 mile time was over 13.0 @ 99MPH. I was a bit disappointed. Was I expecting too much out of this thoroughly-worked 6 cylinder?

When shopping for my SVTF I always wondered why Ford made a few grades of SVTF? Some had HIDs and some not...some had Recaros and some not...why not make them all top-of-the-line Euros? It is the Euros that give it an international sports car look...just wondering...the SVTC had uniformity...

I believe the SVT Focus is returning for 2012. Rumor is 225-250 ponies but I am not aware of the price range. I hope they drop a worked 3L six versus a turbo four e.g. Zetec.

Who makes a quality exhaust system for the SVTF that offers a centered exhaust? How about the chrome double-barreled centered exhaust tail pipe used on the Saleen Focus, who offers that?

Looking for a set of EAP goodies for the three door SVT. Let me know the miles on the car that the parts are from. It will give me an idea on the extent of wear on the front seats.

Does anyone still make the rear seat fiberglass panel for the three door SVTF after removing the rear seat? Steeda did up to, maybe, two years ago. :shrug:

My SVTF will be coming off an extended warranty soon. I would like to consider a chip for increased performance and possibly better gas mileage. 1) Which would you recommend and what is its ballpark price? 2) What would the power increase be in HP and Torque?

New issue with my SVT Focus, shes-a-sqeaking going over bumps and when making right hand turns. The squeak is from the front end on the driver's side. It is annoying! Is it a strut issue? If so, I will replace both sides. Would the Ford Performance M-18000-ZX3 package cure this ill? If not...

So when comparing the stock SVT Focus to the stock SVT Contour performance wise which is the better? Parts wise the Focus has more availability, no? I have the SVT Focus however I must admit the SVT Contour seems to have a better following amongst the owners. There must be a reason for that.
