    Mortgage Rates north of 7%

Yep, we’re good with the payment and avoided stretching our budget too far. I’m not really in-tune with the market in SoCal but that seems shocking that they never recovered to ‘08 levels. Hopefully you enjoyed those homes over the years !

    Mortgage Rates north of 7%

The trends definitely have me a bit nervous over here - Recently closed in July with a 4.75% rate, before any real downward shift in pricing. Demand is still high in this area, but you may get 2-4 quick offers slightly over asking instead of 10-20 offers at $75-100k over asking last year. Lower...

    Fox Body Prices on BaT

Pretty wild stuff. I am starting to regret selling my '87 notch a few months back!! I almost doubled my money in 2 years but the cost of re-entry is crazy. Foxbodies are cool, but for the driving experience and that level of investment... I'm out haha

    Used Vehicle Insights

I have no idea what is going to happen with these prices, but I do know that I refuse to sell any of my desirable sports cars for the foreseeable future. The EV push is going to make them all extremely sought after IMO. If you've got a car (or cars) you love, pay them off and keep em!

I hope he still has it!! Rare to find those cars with RUF mods on them these days. Definitely get one when you’re ready!!

It’s actually a very popular conversion. The obvious reasons are that it saves weight, has way better steering feel, turn in response and so on, make's the car more direct/crisp but obviously a bit more dangerous. This is where the older 930 turbos and GT2 cars got their nickname “widow...

Thank you sir! For turbos it is running the GT3076 Alpha kit w/ XONA billet upgrade I appreciate that!! It’s funny, I originally set out to find a red or yellow car. I didn’t really think about white too much because it’s one of the rarest colors to find. I am obsessed! Thank you, and...

The turbo S is a great choice, and you're right that the GTS is hard to come by. I get the rarity/price factor but you can get a lot more car for the money (like you did!) It seems like everyone with a desirable 911 refuses to let them go below top dollar. I look forward to seeing your new ride!

I agree with this statement, especially for the more analog generations with the Mezger engine. They will only become more desirable

I've checked off a few bucket lists in my day but this one feels different. Join the club!! Thanks man I nearly fell over when I saw the price tag on these brembos. Appreciate the compliment, it is rare to find a car setup nearly exactly how you would have done it (especially when I know I...

That's awesome! Looks like your dad has some good taste and enjoys his cars! Appreciate that! MRSP on this was $151k back in '02. I am not sure if I have seen any higher than that to be honest - porsche options really add up.

Thank you! That sounds like an amazing trip. Bucket list for sure. You're not kidding. I only got into boost a handful of times and was shocked by the speedometer. I've driven some fast cars in my day but this one feels a bit different. They call the 996 GT2 the last "widow maker" Porsche so I...

Fairly common for these to put down anywhere from 550 - 650 whp on pump fuel with upgraded turbos and proper fuel mods. This one should be on the mid/upper end of that spectrum given the turbo/injector setup (GT3076 Alpha kit with ID1000s), but I do not have a dyno sheet. Will be tuning remotely...

Appreciate the feedback everyone! Don't think so! The car was tucked away late November so I must have a lookalike I feel more and more drawn to Porsches, which seems to be surprisingly common when you talk to other owners. The camshaft issue only plagues the 997.1 cars, but the coolant pipes...

SVTP - long time no see. It's been a while since I have been on this site (mainly because it was temporarily blocked on my work computer), but I am back! Some of you may have seen my black notchback sell a couple months ago before my disappearance, so I figure it is time to introduce my...

FOR SALE: ‘87 LX notchback, low mileage ge

As you know, carfax can be a little spotty from the early days but from what I can tell I am the 4th owner. I can send along any info that you need, just let me know. I am quite certain this is the original motor. These are the actual Pony R wheels, not from LMR according to prior owner...

FOR SALE: ‘87 LX notchback, low mileage ge

Thanks! The car was NOT a radio delete car. It retains speakers and wiring, but the faceplate was removed. I do not have the original speedo. I have the window sticker, along with marti report and a stack of receipts from over the years for majority of the modifications and dyno sheet. I...

FOR SALE: ‘87 LX notchback, low mileage ge

I have floated this idea way too many times, but it’s time to let my 32k mile ‘87 coupe go. Absolutely love the car and consider it nearly irreplaceable, but I’ve only put a few hundred miles on it in the last two years and have other cars on my mind. Here is a brief description, shoot me a...

Housing market is still solid in my neck of the woods!

For younger people like myself looking to get into a first single family home, the market is pretty discouraging. Lot of unknowns in the years ahead it seems... dropping $600k+ on something that needs work or doesn't have the space I desire is really unappealing. We have a small beach condo...
