Ordered in a HO Fibertrend hood for my car and got it today....to bad it was broken during shipping and now its atleast 3weeks before they get another batch out.....BUT i could get a cervinis hood but unsure of the clearance...

im looking into setting up from the 2.3 to a 3.4 and was wondering how what lowers is everyone running..
i was thinkin of just getting a stock ring for my metco kit but now that ive been thinking about the amount of stress the 3.4 will put on the lower it might not be the greatest idea...

my 2.3 has maybe 5k miles on it, 3.50/3.25/3.0/2.76 uppers, 4lb lower kit, and all the belts...

Well my stock started snapping and poping a week ago so went ahead and ordered in a Thump unit.
So far not real happy with it. It squeals like a mofo, snaps randomly,the 1/2 ratchet end should be more angled so its easier to put a ratchet in....
I never had any problems before the stock...

how many of you have bought kits and rebuilt your T56 or bought the parts and took it to a local transmission shop?
I broke my stock input shaft and got the tranny back in with a 26 but tranny has been making some unfriendly noises so going to rebuild it....
