For the past week I had been noticing small oil spots in the driveway. I didn't think much of it as I've been swamped at work lately and have had alot on my mind (work, first kid on the way, building a room in the attic, etc. etc.)
George (MGW) called and wanted me to drop by Friday to try...
Anybody got a junk FRONT rotor lying around? One that's warped or too thin to cut down but does't have any cracks?
I'm looking for one for a little project to play with and no, IT WON'T BE PUT ON A CAR.
I'm looking for one I can get cut down to get a flat pad surface and then cleaned to...
Good news for those of you that have pre-ordered. Now you will be able to see, feel, and hear, well, not really hear, what I've been talking about.:coolman:

Just wondering how much boost you guys are getting now? I'm running a 2.77 with an idler, CAI, MAC o/r h and MAC catback. Bypass unplugged.
On a cool night (low 70's), I saw the guage blink 13psi in 3rd. I'm running the Nordskog digital guages btw. Just wondering what you guys are seeing...
Tonight while swapping out the stock rear springs for some H&R race springs, the POS "revised" Autozone spring compresser sliped and busted the small pencil sized rear sway bar endlink. I remember seeing a heavy duty version somewhere but can't find it for the life of me.
Anybody know what...
I noticed today while testing my new guage set-up (Nordskog digital boost, oil pressure and water temp) that while sitting out of gear, I get an upshift light at ~1750-1800rpm while the car is OUT OF GEAR.
What the hell is that all about? I also noticed it seemed to run a little rougher at...
Got my Nordskog digital guages and senders from summit yesterday (boost, oil pressure, and water temp) along with the Autometer 12123.
How did you guy mount the pod to the pillar. I really don't like the fact of having push pins to hold it up. I'd like something a little cleaner looking...
I'll be selling my Pro 5.0 with the MGW handle here shortly.
I've been beta testing the T-56 version of MGW's new shifter, yes, I said shifter, not shifter handle. I've been pestering George about making a shifter that would outperform every shifter on the market and, get this, be...
But then it took three hours to get the damn bolts in.:mj: LOL
Finally got around to swapping the MM IRS bushings I had on the shelf for almost a year now. Wasn't really that bad of a job it you plan ahead. Get a good electric drill, an 8" C-clamp, 1 1/2" PVC coupler with 3/4"-1 1/2"...
How many have done this? IRS bracket

Finished mine last night. Only took about 1.5 hours from start to finish and cost a ~$3 in Grade 8 bolts, lock washers and nylock nuts. I already had a piece of 1/8" x 3" flat bar ~9" long...
11 second club that is:coolman:
Went to the SCMC/MGW drag day in Jackson, SC today. Finally got to try out the 315 Nitto DR's.
I kept flirting with an 11 second run all day: 12.15, 12.15, 12.12, 12.09, 12.04 etc. etc.
At the end of the event, I had let the car cool for ~45 minutes...
Took off early from work (actually snuck out ;) ) to check out the A/F ratio on the Predator tune since the pulley install.
454rwhp/476rwtq SAE
The top end actually hit 10.0 at one point. It was in the high 10's low 11's in the entire top end (10.0 @ 5000 to 11.4@6400). Needless to...
Install the UPR Triple hook and firewall adjuster last night. The following should help those who have done it and remind those who have, the fun they had.
Here's some simple directions:
1.) Make multiple copies of downloaded instructions off internet since UPR didn't send any...
Installed the Predator from RWTD (shoulda waited one more day and saved $60 :kaboom: ) anyway, got it next day, downloaded the program, changed a few parameters etc. etc. Made a SOTP difference. :)
I presently have a MAC o/r h with the MIL eliminators on it. Can't the Predator be used in...
Swapped out the stock H for my MAC O/R H-pipe last night. I'vebeen running with it since the head replacement a couple months ago. I noticed that there was a noticable loss in low-end torque as the tires wouldn't blow off quite as easily in the cold temps. It got in the upper rpms before they...
I've seen quite a few dyno graphs showing the Predator's fuel curves jumping all over the place. Some even look like a slightly altered stock curve. Then I've seen some that are almost ruler flat.
What gives?
One of my buddy's just got his '04 E55. :coolman: Race will soon happen after his 1000 mile break-in. :burnout:
Guess I gotta finally order the Predator and put my 2.77 pulley on.;-)
Just wondering if any of you guys have had a run in with one.
I know with my Lightning, changing the fuel filter was a must. I went 20,000 miles on the factory filter and noticed that when I changed it my bumping idle went away.
How often are you guys changing them on the Cobra's? Every 5000, 10000 miles?
I noticed as of late that my Cobra (9500...
Second gear, roll into the throttle... HOP HOP HOP HOP! All with a CAI and Mac CB.
Can't wait until I do the chip/pulley combo... and DR's and MM IRS bushings, and...
Would doing a rear spring change at the same time make it any easier in installing the MM bushings? Basically dropping the springs, replacing the bushings, then replaceing the springs.
Just wonder ing since everyone is almost willig to give up their firstborne for doing the install.
:read:
Had a buddy that had them in his 10 sec TTA. I liked the way they gave information right when you looked at them, no looking at a needle and looking at the tick marks to decipher it.
Figured I would get the 0-16psi boost (soon to be 2.76 pulley) and Fuel Pressure guages, green ofcourse. Any...
