Here's a really stupid question: when a Cobra is described as being a "Roller," exactly what does that mean?
I figured it was a 'cutsie' word for having replaced the valve/lifter setup, from stock. I used to think it meant that the car had been rolled in an accident.
It's hard to keep up...
Have any owners out there ever seen a Tonneau Cover installed that covers the rear seat ... one that snaps onto the sides of the interior?
I know, this smells of the '50s, but I have it in mind for a possible installation on a future Cobra. I have a feeling that it would have to be a totally...
Have you replaced your stock instrument cluster & bezel with the silver (pewter) color "35th Anniversary" Cluster & Bezel, and then discovered that your trip meter stays in the 'Reset' position all the time, and doesn't work?
I came across this problem a number of years ago, and created a Web...
Someone was looking for a photo of the seat latch. Here's what I found:
I couldn't find my close-up photos ... the computer has kind of taken over, and even screwed-up some of my Web Pages.
Even though I bought this a few weeks ago ... '02 Triumph Bonneville ...
I'm still looking for another Cobra. I'm running the Bonneville on Craigslist.
Before I bought the Bonneville, every Mustang I looked at was totally crap ... almost like all the good Mustangs were gone -
I'm looking for a '94 - ? Cobra (or possibly a Great GT, in very good condition ... I don't want to get involved in repainting, body work, or re-upholstering - please keep that in mind.
I have a buyer's check for $6500 waiting for the right Cobra.
I had one located, but the deal didn't work...
If anyone has access to one or two Car Faxes, I could really use them. I have a Cobra and a GT lined up, to look at this Friday. I'm driving from San Antonio to Houston, early Friday.
If you can hook me up, I'd be forever grateful.
EDIT: 21 May ... disregard this Thread - it's...
I've located what seems to be a good '98 GT-Vert at "Performance Mustang," in Houston. It's located just North of the downtown area alongside I-45, about 2 miles or so North of I-10.
Does anyone know how far I can trust these people? I talked to the owner, and they deal with a lot of...
Hi all ... I'm trying to get back into a Cobra.
Do any of you know anything about a white '95 at a car lot on O'Connor Road?
I'm having a little difficulty getting them to answer the phone.
It's probably from out of town, or even out of state, but thought I'd check with my brothers anyway...
I've only lost $7,500. in my IRA value in the last three weeks. I know there are a LOT of people that have lost tens of that amount, but it still hurts to know that I could have bought a VERY LARGE piece of my next Cobra, instead of losing it ... thanks to some big fat-ass banker/mortgage...
There's a new kid on the San Antonio streets. He's driving a '98 BAB that's BLOWN.
timpryor,:beer::pepper: do you happen to know? LOL
CONGRATULATIONS ...
I'm about to start a new job. I went into full retirement three years ago, and am goings nuts sitting around the house all the time (I'm not a yard-type person any more - I rarely go outside). My new job will be part-time or perhaps full-time. Of course, we only have the one vehicle, a '08...
We're returning home (San Antonio) from an RV trip to Arkansas. Didn't have Wi-Fi at each RV park we stayed at, or would like to have got together with some Cobra owners here. Leaving early in the A.M.
badass98svt P.J., I thought you had written a "Burp" How To, but it isn't listed anymore ... WTF
timpryor's getting ready to do it, and now all of a sudden it's MIA.:(
Just visiting ... nice Forum.
Do any of you owners know how to do a Fog Light Mod, so the fogs will come on by themselves?
I used to drive a Cobra, and the F/L switch was independent of the light switch, so it was entirely a different matter.
I now drive a Hemi, and the F/L switch is...
Back in the '60s, I bought a new Motor Manual, to get specs, and instructions on repairing the components on my '57 Pontiac Chieftan. It helped me tremendously, because I had absolutely no experience on autos.
Well, in about 2002 / 2003, I bought a Haynes Repair Manual at Auto Clone, for about...
Going to look at a '98 Cobra vert tomorrow afternoon. It's Laser Red, with the roll bar and such. Don't know anything else about it yet ... fairly high mileage:eek:
My wife's out of town for about a week, and I was just laying around in my shorts, and went to Auto Trader snooping around...
We returned from our trip out West (of Texas) about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
I kept up with most of the posts with Wi-Fi, at the RV Parks we stayed at. The trip was really good, but it is always nice to get back to your regular bed, and bathroom.
We took a ton of photos, and they can be seen at...
Kind of funny thing happened last night when I was playing pool ...
I was talking to a young lady about her '03 GT, and told her that when I pulled up, there was a red Cobra out in front. She said, "yeah, I think that belongs to the guy you're getting ready to play." I talked with him for a...
We finally got to meet RareYellowAsp. Unfortunately, there were only three of us to get together with him ... timpryor (Tim), TrueBlueVenom (John) - I'm not sure if that's John's SVT Board name, or another Forum, and myself.
We had a good chat over some burgers. Will is a true Cobra owner ...
Here are two methods of doing the Fog Light Rewire Mod.
Method 1. Fog Lights can be turned-on with the parking lights or the headlights turned-on. No wire cutting is necessary ... you merely reverse the position of two wires in a harness located in the center console.
Method 2. Fog...
