    Burping coolant, not air.

My 2003 vert (30M miles) spewed a quart or so of coolant and some steam as I turned off the ignition in my garage yesterday. The radiator cap was the only likely looking source so I replaced it with a new one today. When I refill with coolant mix and try to burp the engine (front elevated), it...

Was about to try a Gatorback belt, but the idea of reversing the...

    Head change

:coolman: Engine comes out next week for new heads installation. Blew a plug on the passenger-side with ugly results on the plug-hole threads and shoulder, (Time-sert not feasible) and while that head is being replaced, seemed a good idea to bring both up to date. Car was born 8/02 and no...

:coolman: Any experiences with dealer warranty reaction to sub-frame connectors or strut-tower braces on the '03? SVT say they have no input on this, and that it is entirely up to the dealer.

    Removing air-filter

:coolman: I am sure this is an elementary subject to many of you, but how do I remove the stock filter to switch with a K&N. I see that the filter box is secured by a single bolt and an O-clamp, but it does not look as though removing those will allow enough movement of the box. What else must...

:coolman: The service manager at my dealer tells me not to fit a K&N filter on my 03 yet. He says there have been several reports of superchargers pulling filter material into the system. Says K&N are working on a filter designed to fix the problem. Any insights?
