All Coyote variants make a lot of ‘weird’ or ‘new’ noises compared to any older modulars. Compare to some other new engines or post a video clip for others to review.
Comfort wise the LS struts are only a bit stiffer/harsher than base Boss struts. On the soft side of the adjuster, I think it's softer than the stock Brembo 55D struts. I've had all three on my Brembo GT (currently CorteX) and my Boss is still stock suspension wise.
Good luck with your decision.
I think this would be the way to go in SoCal. Get the biggest unit you can fit to get 'first air' and maybe use a fan on the street for hot days but might not need that. OEM oil to water coolers put a heavy load on the coolant side. I wouldn't recommend removing it, since you'd need a massive...
Thanks, offset is +52.
Most will need spacers ~20mm to 25mm or so and long studs to run them up front. I have the CorteX offset struts and only need a sliver and have a 5mm / 3/16" in there for a bit more clearance.

If you're doing pads, I wouldn't worry about the ducts so much for this event since you have previous experience.
And it's tough not to get bitten by the track bug a 2nd time. After nearly a 20yr track hiatus...within a month of a track day in September 2011, I added the Boss to my stable in...
I'd put brake ducts at the top of the list. Fresh fluids after that. Brake, oil, diff, and trans. Any 5 year old fluids would be a *bad* idea for track duty.
Do the rest of the stuff mentioned in the Boss supplement for track use if you can too. Remove the rear dust shields, trans cooling scoop.
Please vote 'YES' if you can definitely go or 'MAYBE' if you're not sure.

Bring your Boss if you can...hoping to have the biggest 'new' Boss gathering in CA this year.
Cars and Coffee Irvine
I'll be there about 5:00 am and try to save spaces until 7 or until it fills up.
Post if you think you can make it, so I can save an appropriate number of stalls...
Got these from CJ Pony Parts on the black Monday sale. Finally got around to trimming them to fit around the GT/Brembo strut tower brace.
Thought this might interest someone who wants these covers on their car with a brace. I used a dremel with a cutoff wheel and a file...
My car was almost at the 200 mile mark today, so I decided to do the fade procedure today (20) 65 to 0 mph stops by the manual...lots of smoke wafting up at the stops. Luckily, I work near a block that has no turnout traffic (because it's empty in the middle) and could do the whole procedure...
I noticed on the underbody shots that the plastic rear wheel spats aren't on our cars. I'm guessing because of the side pipes running right over the same locations.
Do you think they weren't worth making in metal for the Bosses? Or do the side pipes accomplish the same aero/deflective...
Considering either the '03 Cobra 'vert (silver) or '11 GT (kona blue).
If I trade the 'vert..I'm thinking Comp Orange. If it's the GT, I'm thinking of staying Kona Blue.
The GT is my DD and the Cobra is a Friday/Sunday cruiser.
 What would you do? Ignore the $ differences in...
