    Yes Darien Connecticut to Redondo Beach, Portofino Marina California .. 31 Hours 47 minutes, holds both route and event records, and the NY Route is 50 miles shorter.

    I sold the cobra and I wound up building my own engine out of parts laying around and was able to break the Cannonball event world record and I’m now top 5 time in the world in transcontinental runs. Thanks for all the advice. 31:47

    Incorrect, a cobra Hardtop is a 47V as denoted by the VIN. V means 32v 4.6 engine that was only available in a cobra. There are Vins stamped in the wings under the aprons and often in various parts of the body. This car has none, just the state issued cobra tag.

    Illinois State issued a Cobra vin and title to the car with their own personal tag. There are no factory ford Vins on it anywhere.
