It's a pain in the ass to hit a button each time you start it? C'mon now lol. Be thankful you can actually turn it off, unlike some GM cars. I think you can also bypass it by tricking the system into thinking you're towing something by having the brake light harness connected.
This is the biggest deal breaker with an ecoboost. They all sound like crap with an exhaust. I've yet to hear one that even sounds half way decent, and that's comparing it to other v6 exhaust notes, not the coyote.
Go with a 15-17 5.0 with at least 3.55 gears. You won't have to worry about DI carbon build up issues like you will with 15-17 2.7 and 15-16 3.5 ecoboost engines.
Is it not offered in your state? I logged onto my account and I have the ability to have collision and uninsured motorist at the same time. I choose not to since, imo, it's like paying for the same coverage twice with a lower deductible. Not worth it to me.
It's only going to get worse now that the '18 Mustang GTs with 10 speeds are running crazy numbers with just tune and tire swap. Lund Racing ran an 11.5 with just those two mods and 11.3 with the addition of e85.
I've never used UPS freight, but I've never had issues with UPS ground. I've even switched to deliver to a UPS store and I pick it up and it only delays it by one day. FedEx on the other hand....I avoid at all costs if I can.
This was #1 on my list for wifey's next vehicle...until we sat in it. I couldn't get a comfortable seating position and we both hated how long the dash and hood felt. Damn shame because it was very roomy and had plenty of cargo space.
I thought so as well. The '18 5.0 now with a 10 speed, direct injection, and the huge weight loss only gets about 2 mpg better than a '14 F150. They haven't added cylinder deactivation like GM and Ram have. Maybe that would make a difference on the highway.
The 10 speed makes very little mpg difference. Heck, even when the F-150 dropped 500-700 pounds and then added the 10 speed, it made very little difference compared to the previous generation F150.
Shop around every time you policy is up for renewal. There's no good reason to stay with one insurance company long term, especially if they keep increasing your rates.
Not sure where the confusion came up, but that's not what I said (meant). But yes you are right, get GAP if you don't put anything down so you won't be upside down if something were to happen to the vehicle.
And don't put a significant amount of money down (prefer zero) on a depreciating asset...
Well yes, I was trying to make it easier for people to understand by not making it so technical. And we all know the moment you drive off in that vehicle, you take a nice hit on depreciation. I'm not risking any of my money, I'll let the my insurance and/or the gap company do that.
Even...
