Always Garaged, always in Georgia or Alabama away from coast
Only modifications are welded subframe connectors and lighter clutch
Dynoed at 98k miles and exceeded new specs...
My '03 Cobra Convertible with 103k miles rides rougher than it did back when it was young. What do y'all recommend to bring it back? I like a comfortable ride, and I do love the way the Cobra stays flat around curves.

My car was completely stock when I took it to the dyno in October 2002 with 4000 miles on the odometer. The highest RWHP reading was 383 and the average of three runs was about 379.
Since then, I have done nothing to the engine except a tune up around 80k miles and couple of coil pack...
A local shop replaced by stock grill Mustang with a Cobra emblem, and I'd like to put the Mustang back.
It looks like a tamper-proof set of screws with a head that looks like it would fit an allen wrench with curves but it has a little nipple in the middle to block a standard wrench.
Can anyone recommmend a good transmission shop in North Atlanta?
She is stiff going into the gears.
The dealer that has done all my work said the pedal pressure was too high and thinks it's a bad clutch.
That doesn't sound right at all, since these cars come with abnormally stiff...
My cobra's shifter is stiff, harder to get into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th if I am accelerating quickly.
Dropping it into first is no problem and it's not difficult if I drive like a grandma.
There is no grinding. Clutch is good.

I'm smelling antifreeze when I start the Cobra after it has set a while, most likely from the exhaust.
I have some ideas what might cause this, but I thought I would come here to the source of all information. What could this be?
I am replacing the stock clutch with a Centerforce DF. One place I called said it is recommended to replace the stock flywheel at the same time. Is that needed?

I gave my daughter my 97 Tbird when she was a senior at GA Tech about 5 years ago. It had 97k miles. Now it has 163k miles and she is ready for a new car, in part because of the metal-on-metal sounds she heard from the engine today.
I may need to put a new engine in it. I'd like more power...
Does anyone know a good installer for subframe connectors in Atlanta?
I am hoping they can stiffen my convertible.
Do you think the subframe connectors will damp the wheel hop? The cold weather this week has turned the car into a jumping bean.
I notice some lumps on the rear-most bar of my convertible top.
I lifted the top to the full upright position (pointing up into the air), removing the tension on the fabric sufficiently to look under the flap over the rear window.
The staples holding the fabric to the bar were coming out...

I have an 2003 Cobra Convertible and I gave my daughter my '97 TBird. I do love the way the TBird drives, and I bet it would scream with the kind of power my Cobra has.
It looks like something hard and small bounced up off the road and punched a small hole in my intercooler radiator. Coolant was leaking on the garage floor. I don't think I drove it far with it low on cooler.
I had it towed into the dealer and they said it would be about $650 for a new...
