How close to OE are these? My driver's seat is starting to show wear in my 98.
Ive been on the fence, either try TMI or find a nice set of recaros. I have them in my FoST and they've kinda grown on me. But prefer the OE look on the Cobra.

CY is a bitch to paint. Hopefully they don't blend your fenders and not tell you.
I sprayed a saleen wing for mine a few months back and while it matches in the light, still not happy with it in the shop.
Make sure you look at it in the sun as well as in the shop, check your fog light holes...
First mustang was a 65 coupe when I turned 14. Daily driver duty till my early twenties. Got another 65 at 19. Since then I've owned a 96 and 98 Cobra. Still have the second 65 and my 98.

Since I purchased this car, I've fought over heating.
The culprit has to be the intercooler blocking air flow to the radiator.
Fans are set to come on sooner, fluidyne radiator, lower temp thermostat. Coolant additive.
Not sure what else to try.

Just moved into an old loft that has heart of pine flooring.
My old place had laminate hardwoods through the heavily trafficked areas. So I'd just toss some Mr clean and mop away or steam clean them.

I've taken my cobra to shows, but never my Fairlane. Its a clean car, but the paint is no where near 100%. It has trash and dry spray etc. Its all one color and looks great from 10 ft. But up close, you can tell the age of the resto.
People pull up at stop lights all the time and compliment it...
I picked up a 62 Fairlane a couple weeks ago to DD.
Its about as base as they come. 170 I6, 3 speed on the tree. Radio delete, one speed wipers, and bench seat.
The car has made it 51 years without a radio, no antenna hole, nothing.
I thought about putting a hidden radio or a factory style...
Someone mind explaining this to me? I have two transmissions that have non synchronized first gears, meaning you have to be at a stop before shifting into them. Im about to do a rebuild on one of them and it got me thinking on how it works.
Got a call from the tuner, all sorts of racket from the right bank. Motor has to come back out.
1) Blown head gasket, motor was swapped for built
2) Valve springs broke, motor came back out
3) Found out motor had wrong compression, motor came back out
4) As I sit today, pulling the motor back...
Car isnt wanting to idle. Wondering if my MAF was damaged when my air filter fell off. Anyway to test just the MAF and how its reading? I don't have a SCT handheld or anything.
