Congrats on the intake and progress. Really enjoy watching the progress made on this. I am running Fitech and it is the same thing with the vacuum on those as well. There were some work arounds to help drivability that some guys were making tweaks to, once the self learning had run for a bit...
Looks like a pretty solid car to start with. Should be fun stuffing that motor in. Keep the updates coming, love to see the work on these. Also, any more details on the 70? Looks like a nice car as well.
Just a bit of advice, once you get it all set up and in the car, make sure the lines are tight and out of the way of the pressure plate. I doubt you want to pull the tranny back out after getting it back together. Ask me how I know .
Yeah, I upgraded from regular rubber hose when I was having some pump issues. I had an external pump that I kept vapor locking, so I upgraded to an aeromotive internal pump and bit the bullet and did the PTFE lines at the same time. It wasn't cheap with all of the fittings that I needed, but I...
Looking good. Been enjoying your updates and progress you are making. Love the DYI on all of it. Keep up the updates and great work!
Just FYI, I used the PTFE lines on my build and glad that I did. Got rid of a lot of the fuel smell that I had with previous lines.
Looking good. Wheel set up and stance looks killer! I am sure the new shock set up will be nice as well. I run the Street or Track set up and it is Night and day from what I had before. Look forward to the progress.
Sorry about that.

I am using CVF pulleys and brackets as well, but using the v-belt set up. With running PS and already having a v-belt AC unit when I switched to their set up I didn't convert to serpentine.
My car is...
I used these wire coverings from Summit Racing. A bit more modern, and easy to work with. They are fabric and have a clean look to them. You can get them in different sizes and lengths.
When I upgraded my water pump to a Edlebrock aluminum unit, I just painted it engine color. Works great...
I have FiTech in my 69, but opted for a inline Fuel Pump. There is a facebook user group that has some great info I would recommend signing up for. Also, be cautious of the Fuel Commander. There are still some issues out there with over heating pumps. Some guys are getting it to work, but it...
Well
Just got my car dynoed over the weekend after changing my combo. I previously had only a MAC prochamber h pipe and a MAC CAI, with everything else stock, including timing and it pulled 244rwhp and 294 rwtq.
I changed to MAC long tube, h pipe and catback, and a C&L 76 MAF kit with...
