i have a 10' sho leaking oil from the turbo oil feed line on the firewall side. It's the line leaking, not the seals, I can get to the engine side, but the turbo side I can barely get one finger on the head of the banjo bolt. There is also a heat shield on the exhaust manifold directly above...
I can't answer that, I don't understand it my self. Getting a regular t56 and bolting it to the back of the motor would make this significantly easier.
A co worker has a 50's Chevy pickup, an s10 (unknown year) and a burnt 04 vette. He wants to put the 50's body on the s10 frame and use everything else from the vette. It didn't occure to him that the corvette trans is part of the diff and the torque tube deal.
I suggested finding a t56 from...
From what I've read they should get better mileage than the sho Taurus I currently have and I could definitely use the space, there's not a lot of them out there, some have 150k - 200k miles on them and they're still going. I agree hybrids will be expensive to fix but some of the stuff on my sho...
I have a 10' with just over 100k miles on it. Cai and 3 bar tune, I love it, pulls hard. It's a comfortable ride, has all the options I would want, no complaints, no issues.
I spoke to a manager, he apologized and said I could bring it back and they would clean it. I told him I already spent 2 hrs cleaning it. He told me if I wanted to bring it back in a month or two they would detail it no charge. So I guess they're making some effort to make up for it. Still a...
A few weeks ago a tree fell on my wife's sho Taurus while she was driving. It got the hood, windshield, both front fenders, passenger rear door and fender. Took it to the local ford dealer for repair. Insurance covered the $7000 bill, repair turned out nice but the inside was filthy. I know it...
I used to have an 01 L years ago, absolutely loved it. Sadly, I had to sell it due to having kids/buying a house/recession. A couple years ago I picked up anow 02 Harley f150. It's not a lightning but still somewhat unique, fun to drive, same driveline, but has room for the kids. Something to...
Hey guys, I'm starting a new build, there's a local guy selling a 3v 5.4 from an 05 f250. I'd like to use the crank and the block from it. From what i'v read so far it shouldn't be an issue. I thought one of you guys would know more about the 3v. My build includes ported 2v heads, 2.3 whipple...
I'm considering getting some long tubes. Kooks and arh are out of my price range but I'must not looking for the cheapest route either. Obx headers and mid pipes are a decent option, but the only place I can find them is eBay. Many have used pacesetters, but often reported fitment and quality...
Just built motor, First start up yesterday. started up great, ran for 45min in the shop, all different rpms, shut down, checked fluids, road tested, drove for 2 to 3 miles, different rpms and speeds, turned around to head back your the shop, halfway back it started to run a little rough, then...
Hey, my father wants me to put a t56 in his 455ci 76 Trans am, there is a few companies such as American powertrain, Hurst drive lines and silver sport transmissions that offer complete kits. he got a quote from sst, includes absolutely everything. I'very read several good reviews, anyone dealt...
Hey, I'll be picking up a 2010 sho in 2 weeks. I'm very tempted to get a Cai and tune for it, I'm wondering how much it would effect fuel economy, I realize economy isn't usually the goal, but if it's going to be significant I might just spend the money on my 02 HD f150
Hey fellas, i want eco boost sho. I won't be giving up my 02 hd f150 so i'd be trading my wifes 07 fusion. She drives a lot and needs something decent on fuel. Now, i've read some people reporting pretty impressive mileage, but my wife drives everything like she stole it so i think that will...
Can anyone tell me what the spec is for a1 rod bolts on stock 09 shelby rods? I've searched several forums, theres links posted but havn't been able to get any to work
I have a kit left from a previous truck, i was thinking about putting on my current truck, nothing crazy, probably lime a 75 shot, anyone else running a small kit? Nozzel in the elbow before the tb? I've read about guys complaining about the fuel pressure fluctuation
Hey guys, i'll be putting my motor back together in a couple weeks and i'm looming for some helpful links for assembly proceedures, torque specs, ect. I've built several large displacement diesels, but never a gas motor.

This is a lot cheaper than an afco, i know the inlet/outlet are on the same side as opposed to one on each end like the oem style bu thats not a big deal. At 3.5" thick .ts gotta be double, maybe...
For sale: 2# lower ring from lfp, used for about 1100miles, like new, $100 (US) shipped firm. I also have a belt that would fit with a stock whipple upper and aux idler for $10 extra.
Is changing cams wourth while if keeping the stock torque converter? Is there that much to gain by going with a higher stall converter that would allow for bigger cams? This is for a daily driver. I realize it would make more power i just wouldnt want to do cams and then be disappointed i didn't...
i'm kinda in the middle of getting my tune worked out, truck was running a little rich, but now after a recent trip to the dyno it has a missfire during wot. It runs great all other times, 3/4 throttle it runs good, pulls hard, but wot it missfires and struggles. Has whipple 2.3 at 16psi, sbtb...
