I have the UPR dual inlet breather catch can ( 11-21 Mustang GT 5.0 or V6 Billet Dual Inlet Breather Tank Plug N Play ™ ) on my 2013 GT with a TVS blower. The lower intake manifold has a port in the lower rear that has a hose that runs up the passenger side of the motor, plugs into the side of...
Time to bring this up again sort of.. lots of good info here. I am about to have a 5.2 short block built for my 2013 GT, I bought a set of new OEM Gen2 heads with OEM valves and springs installed that will just get my current stock gen1 cams. The shop that is going to assemble the motor and...
If you're still looking, I just pulled my VMP Gen2 head unit off to upgrade. It has less than 10k miles, worked great and is in the box ready to ship. PM me if you're interested.
I just decided to leave it alone for now until I get the bigger fuel system, Id1300 injectors and ported blower/lower installed. I will just get it on the dyno then for a re-tune. I remembered that my friend that has a comparable set up (same blower, built stock compression motor, stock...
I'm not sure that this question can be answered 100% because of so many variables but.... what is a good number for timing degrees at WOT for a built gen1 shortblock with stock compression (11:1 I think), stock gen 1 heads/cams, 5% OD lower, LT's, no cats, VMP gen2 blower with a 69mm upper...
Thinking of upgrading blower head units on my 2013 GT. I have a built gen1 short block that’s 11:1, ARP head studs and hardware, Ford Racing head gaskets, stock gen1 heads, 69mm upper, stock lower running 12psi, 13/15 GT500 return style fuel system with id1000’s running e85. Built 6r80 with a...
I’m not opposed to putting slicks on it since all my previous mustangs had Hoosiers on them but with less power. I’ve read that slicks are more for a manual trans car because of the shock and since my car is an auto that’s stalling around 3k a radial is a better choice... however I can’t help...
I tried launching in 2nd gear and that was kind of a joke.. not flooring it, maybe half throttle but then it would start to break loose and still kind of fish tail. Not as bad as 1st gear. A 3rd gear launch.... works but man does it suck lol. No tire spinning tho at least.
As much as I’d love to, I doubt I get it figured out if no one here has it figured out yet lol. I’m sitting here thinking how going turbo would be easier on the street. Sounds like I have a track/hwy car.
Agree.. I have 3 tunes and I just run the lightest 60’ tune I have for the street that pulls tuning out. Not much more to do lol. I thought about switching to Hoosier slicks but I have a friend with a similar setup/power that runs 14psi in those tires and doesn’t hook up well either. But it’s...
I have a 2013 GT that’s making around 800whp with a PD blower, has a built 6r80 with a 2800-3k stall, Strange single adjustable front struts set on the softest setting with BMR GT500 drag springs, Viking warrior rear shocks set on 6 for compression and 3 for rebound with BMR GT drag springs, BMR...
I already emailed you pics of it. It’s unmarried and I’m selling it for $125 shipped. Shipping isn’t free, if shipping was free than I’d let it go for $100 but it’s not.
I got under the car today and dropped the LCA’s to the lowest hole on the relocation brackets and put the tire pressure to 19psi. Was a little above 70 and the sun was out for a while so the roads were warm. Took the car out on the hwy and hit the go pedal a couple times. It still has some...
How are you hooking up from a dig on the street? I have a built motor, VMP Gen2 running about 12psi with a 69mm upper and a stock lower, tuned on E85, built 6r80 with a 2800-3k stall, makes right around 800whp. I have MT ET street radial pros in 275/69r15 at 16psi. Viking warriors, BMR drag...
My rookie question for the day.. what kind of spark plug gap to run with a VMP at 12.5 psi of boost on E85, 11:1 compression. Spark plugs are Ford Racing M-12405-M50A (1 heat range cooler than stock plugs).
